I am loving how these tea towels are weaving up. Currently using some.ice dyed weft on this ice dyed warp!

As I sit here weaving this morning, reflecting on Fibres West, all I can feel is a deep sense of gratitude. I am so grateful for the amazing maker community that continues to show up. I am grateful I am a small part of this.

Thank you to Brenda and her wonderful group of volunteers for organizing such a fantastic show. You work so hard for all of us. @fibreswest

Thank you to all the people who show up in all the different ways to support us. My parents and kiddos for helping with set up and tear down. Eric for helping with the booth and so much more. All of my wonderful customers. Those who have been buying and loving my stuff for years. Those who have just discovered me. Those who just stop and admire what we've created. I am so grateful for each and everyone of you and the role you play in making this dream happen.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Now to get back to some well earned quiet time.

Tea towels have been cut apart and are now going for their first soak. Once they are dry from this soak, they'll be hemmed. After that it's time for a final wash and dry before they are complete.

I love being a maker. Creating things of beauty when the world feels so heavy, it lifts me. It reminds me of what is good in our world. I've had a rocky couple of years with my making. I don't always have the mojo to complete things but I'm trying. It felt so good to cut these tea towels off the loom today.... a little reminder of how good it feels to finish something.
