Today we celebrate 19 years married and I'm so grateful for the life we have together. This was us just before we went out for dinner to our favourite local restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal together. Here's to another 19 years!

Knit City prep is in full swing... we reskein all our yarn.... we do this to make sure that the skeins you purchase are as tangle free as possible.... but it takes time. So this is my day today. Waiting for skeins to reskein. Tie them off, twist and repeat.

Super excited to share something special that we are bringing with us to Knit City this year. My oldest daughter and her friend have been making these beautiful silk earrings and stitch markers. They are using our 100% Tussah Silk Divine Lace base to create the skeins. It has been a delight to watch them make these and we will have them for sale at the show this weekend! I thought I'd figured out a shipping system and then that fell through when I went to ship a package this morning... so more research is being done and hopefully we'll figure something out soon.

Grateful to my lovely friend @lisanngurney, who I'm visiting right now, for helping me sort through colours today. I've made a big list of colours that I'll be discontinuing once I get home. Expect to see an update to our clearance section in the next couple of weeks, and then it'll be time to develop the new coloura I need to fill in the gaps! It's going to be a fun project!

It's finally redone! When we moved into our place... almost 13 years ago... I didn't love the fireplace. It has been something we've talked about redoing for a long, long time and this summer we actually tackled it. Eric did most of the work and I think it looks amazing. Swipe to see it just before the new stone work went on.

A day spent with my three favourite people. We hiked to Viewpoint Beach in Golden Ears Park, had lunch, skipped rocked, walked across the river (or got carried if you're lucky), took the route down by Lower Falls and then home. It's days like today where I'm reminded how lucky I am to live where I do and have these amazing people in my life. Not to mention that there were so many colour possibilities 😍
